Who We Are
Fotoqrafika is an independent online photography magazine focused on creative visual storytelling. Founded in 2011 in Azerbaijan the project brings together the work of professional and emerging photographers from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Published quarterly, Fotoqrafika is released as a free interactive PDF, designed to be downloaded, archived, and enjoyed across all devices and platforms. Fotoqrafika exists to discover, curate, and share strong photographic work — beyond trends, beyond borders.
Biz Kimik
Fotoqrafika yaradıcı fotoqrafiyaya və vizual ifadəyə həsr olunmuş müstəqil onlayn jurnal olaraq 2011-ci ildə Azərbaycanda təsis edilib. Layihə müxtəlif ölkələrdən və mədəniyyətlərdən olan həm peşəkar, həm də gənc nəsil fotoqrafların işlərini bir araya gətirir. Fotoqrafika rübdə bir dəfə nəşr olunur və pulsuz interaktiv PDF formatında təqdim edilir. Oxucular onu istənilən platforma və cihazda endirib saxlaya, istədikləri vaxt rahatlıqla izləyə bilərlər. Fotoqrafikanın əsas məqsədi güclü fotoqrafiya işlərini kəşf etmək, seçmək və paylaşmaqdır — dəbdən kənar, sərhədləri aşan.
From the Editor
It has been fifteen years since the last page of Fotoqrafika was turned. Between our early issues and the platform you see today, the world of photography has transformed. We have moved from the dawn of the digital era to an age where images are produced by the billions, often at the speed of a single click or a line of code. But while the technology changed, the need for the graphic soul of a photograph remained.
I founded this project in 2011 to find a home for images that did more than just document; I wanted to find works that interpreted reality through a graphic lens. Relaunching Fotoqrafika in 2026 is not an act of nostalgia—it is an act of preservation. It is a return to the belief that a photograph can be a canvas, and that an independent platform can still be a sanctuary for creative storytelling.
To the photographers who trust us with their vision, and to the readers who keep this conversation alive: thank you for being here.

Fotoqrafikanın sonuncu səhifəsinin çevrilməsindən on beş il keçir. İlk saylarımızla bu gün qarşınızda olan platforma arasındakı müddətdə fotoqrafiya dünyası tamamilə dəyişib. Biz rəqəmsal dövrün başlanğıcından, təsvirlərin milyardlarla, çox vaxt bir klik və ya bir kod sətri sürəti ilə yaradıldığı bir dövrə keçid etdik. Lakin texnologiya dəyişsə də, fotoqrafiyanın qrafik ruhuna olan ehtiyac dəyişməz qaldı.
Mən bu layihəni 2011-ci ildə ətrafdakıları sadəcə həkk edən deyil, reallığı yaradıcı prizmadan şərh edən fotolar üçün bir məkan yaratmaq məqsədilə qurmuşdum. Fotoqrafikanı 2026-cı ildə yenidən nəşr etmək nostalji hissi deyil, məqsəd bu yaradıcılığı qorumaqdır. Bu, fotoqrafiyanın bir kətan ola biləcəyinə və bu müstəqil platformanın yaradıcı hekayələr üçün hələ də bir sığınacaq rolunu oynaya biləcəyinə olan inama qayıdışdır.
